Consultation: Application Paper on Regulation & Supervision of Captive Insurers - Publication of Comments

In July 2015 the Application Paper on Supervision and Regulation of Captive Insurers was put out for public consultation.  Comments received can be found in the report below.

The IAIS drafting team responsible for development of the paper are presently reviewing the comments received and  will propose resolutions, where necessary, for amendment to the paper. These will be presented for consideration at the next meeting of the Technical Committee.

A public discussion of the comments and proposed resolutions will be organised in early October.  Further details of this stakeholder session will be provided in due course.
